Daren Valhaikor

Released...released after eight long years. I make me way home to find nothing. No farm, no family...scattered to the four winds, gone forever. And for the first time, I wept for I had realized what I had caused. One night as I slept on the ashes of what was once me home beautiful Az'atta herself came to me in a dream. She told me how forgivness was possible and redemption could be found. Now I be not a preacher, teacher, or bible thumping scholar, but a living example of the love and mercy given by the Redemptress. The hell that was my life and the love of my goddess has made me a changed man. A walking ideal I now am. Dark days are ahead, and the Redemptress requires protectors of the weak.
