Ardin Bloodmantle

Broad-shouldered and solid as carved stone, this dwarf carries himelf with a calm lethal poise born of discipline rather than of brute force. A worn black eyepatch covers his right eye, its leather cracked and scarred by age and battle, while his remaining eye burns with quiet focus. His long red beard hangs loose and untamed down his chest, streaked with darker iron-red near the ends, a deliverate rejection of ridgid dwarven customs His equally fiery hair is pulled back into a tight warrior's ponytail, keeping it from his face when steel is drawn. he wears layered samurai armor forged from dwarven steel--compact, flexible, and etched with runes. Twin katanas rest at his side, their crimson-wrapped hilts worn smooth by countless hours of practice, while a reinforced yumi style bow rides across his back, built to withstand dwarven strength. His arrows are fletched in muted tones, meant for war, not display. He strikes first from afar, loosing arrows with controlled breath unerring aim, then closes the distance with relentless precision. In melee, his paired blades flash like sparks from a forge, each cut deliberate, each movement honed to perfection. He follows a strcit coade forged from mountain tradition and samurai honor--loyalty, restraint, and mastery of the self. He bows before battle, even with one eye hidden. seeing more in his foes than most do with two. To face him is to feel the quiet certainty of death, as inevitable as falling stone and sharpened steel.
