Nickname: Junior Full name: Gareth Herta’ge Junior Age: 17 Class: Fighter/palidan Race: Human Alignment: Lawful Good Height: 6’1” Weight: 87 Kg Diety: Aeridin
Bio: First son to a Leather worker, Gareth spent most his childhood playing with sticks, always pretending to be a knight, so shining in armour, with a blade equally as bright. His father was a popular man, always helping the local populace when he could with his simple acts of kindness… kindness a word overly used to date, but a word well deserved by this man. Gareth always watched his father in diplomatic situations, quickly joining him to cease bar fights at the local tavern, or help a merchant meet a reasonable price with their supplier. At 14, Junior as he is most commonly called was gifted a journal bound tight in the skin of a prized Ox, A masterpiece crafted by his fathers own two hands. Over the next 3 years Gareth left his days off childhood playing and went into schooling. This consisted of weapon training, literacy, cooking as well as other simple arts including dance, hunting, foraging and even sewing.
Gareth soon came to realize his natural talent as a leader, always taking charge on hunting trips with the other boys, always focusing on his training. To busy studying and training to realize he was becoming an attractive man, constantly swooning the local populace of ladies to his demeanor. His silky dark midnight hair and ocean blue eyes always demanding attention. A charismatic aura always following young Junior's path. And just like his father, he soon gained a positive reputation for being a just and kind lad, a man of a pure heart, a man who will always do what needs to be done and put in all his effort to see it accomplished. Gareth never dawdled or slacked off during any set task, always walking with his head held high, just as he father had told him time and time before.
A few days after Gareth’s seventeenth birthday a man rode into town. Clad in white silver armor, it reflected and enhanced all of the suns glory and justice. Only some had the pleasure of talking with him, his name was Morvin. We all knew why he had come to our little town… there had been recent sightings of undead roaming the hunting forest. Only a hunting dog has gone missing since. Morvin, a name Junior will never forget, a name that caused an avalanche of grandeur and glory within Junior… He would be like this man, an undead hunter, Protector of the weak and innocent, a servant of Aeridin.
Then came a day junior grew tired of his short leash, of his repetitive training and useless skills. Junior wanted to escape the chained life of a peasant’s son, and explore the world, and follow his new goal, and take what gifts and glory it has to offer him. So he confronted his father, with his visions of grandeur and exploration, expecting anger and rage, the emotions of a man with a disobedient son. But instead his father threw his arms up high in celebration to his son’s decision, and gifted him with a bag of gold, an old steed and a thick blue cloak.
Gareth rode the next mourn with a smile gleaming upon his face, a smile of new beginnings, a smile of adventure, a smile of hope, a smile of glory…A smile of a hero
